QuranGarden is an English Quran Tafsir site. We are a diverse small team of people worldwide capable of overcoming the barriers of distance to achieve our aim: providing English speakers with an insightful, easy-to-understand verse-by-verse explanation of the Holy Quran. QuranGarden is your source of weekly Tafsir that will help our Muslim sisters and brothers and any person interested in exploring Islam to understand our Holy Book like never before! Our content is a direct English adaptation of the Tafsir of the renowned Egyptian scholar Mohammad Mutwali Al-Sherawi (click here to learn more about the scholar). More specifically, we adapt from his popular 1980s and 90s TV series "Reflections on the Quran," still televised to millions in the Arab speaking world today. We hope to bring you his wonderful way of explaining the Quran!

When we started QuranGarden in 2013, we did not want just to translate a textbook, we wanted to make understanding the Quran easily accessible to English speakers. That is why we chose to offer the Tafsir of the Quran in text and professionally narrated audio. We also started The QuranGarden YouTube Tafseer channel. Our YouTube channel passed 2 million views in 2019!
OUR APP & PODCAST
In 2016, QuranGarden launched the QuranGarden App for Android and iOS users. The App allows users to have access to the entire library of Tafseer on their phones and tablets. If you are an iOS user, you also have access to QuranGarden Podcast. Now, you can read, listen or watch the Quran explained in clear English anywhere you like.
OUR COMMITMENT
The process of translation, proofreading, voice narration, and video production is incredibly time-consuming. Each 10-minute session takes hours to produce. We are doing QuranGarden at the cost of sleep after our day jobs and after taking care of the kids! We want to give you a quality product, and that takes time. We do our very best to add a new session each week.
